2017 see our kennel win 2 CC’S with BOB’S, 2 RCC’S, BEST VETERAN IN SHOW, BEST VETERAN GROUP 1 & 2, & BEST VETERAN IN SPECIALTY SHOW
Back in the ring after a little break, we hit the ground running with or first show of the year Boston, BEST OF BREED and the 22nd CC for Echo under Mrs Sarah Robinson one of the most respected people in the Sled Dog Community. Echo won CC & BEST OF BREED SWKC CH Show underJudge Mr R James.
Sid and Echo continued to win and place throughout the year although having had top honours from many of the 2017 judges on previous occasions it restricted us to what shows we entered. The weekend of National Working & Pastoral Breeds & the Alaskan Malamute Club Open show was a highlight of the Arcticbreeze Kennel to date with Echo making her debut in the Veteran and going BEST VETERAN IN SHOW at both events. The following week at COB saw her gain BEST VETERAN IN BREED & WORKING VETERAN GROUP 2.
Echo won her 8th RCC City Of Birmingham CH Show 2017 Judge Mrs M Sargen. Darlington again saw Echo win her 9th RCC and went head to head with her brother Sid handled by Michael Craig for BEST VETERAN IN BREED under Judge Mr M John. As the year drew to a close Working and Pastoral Breeds of Wales was a day to remember as Echo took her 23rd CC.
Heat break, however, followed with Misty becoming very ill and at Christmas, we were devasted when Mikey suddenly passed away. We was left shell shocked and broken.
News 2016
Only a handful of shows for 2016 for us this year but I kept busy with lots of local stewarding appointments. As Storm & Squeak were in their twilight years and somewhat day to day health-wise, we wanted to cherish every day with and not spend days away from home, for both Wayne and I this was our priority. On the 4th of July we were both devastated with the passing of our first malamute Storm.

At the world’s greatest dog show ‘CRUFTS’ Keisha owned by Gill & Tom Woodall WINS the Limit Bitch class!! Both Misty and Echo pick up a RCC at Bath and Southern Counties. Echo take the CC at Three Counties under Judge Mr Newhouse.
EOE was a great show as not only did Echo take her 17th CC. But brother Sid takes his 6th RCC and this was after 8 months break from the show ring. Sid was handled by Sarah Towers, under Judge Mr P Radley. Echo continued her winning streak with picking up the RCC at Leeds under Judge Mr K Givens, CC, BEST OF BREED & WORKING GROUP 4 Bournemouth under Judge Mr E Engh. CC & BEST OF BREED SKC under Judge K Nathan. And the CC Darlington under Judge Mrs J Peak.
Sid handled by Sarah wins the RCC at the AMCUK CH Show under Judge Jack Bispham, and for the last CH show of 2015 see Echo take another CC at Driffield with litter sister Keisha picking up the RCC under Judge Mr S Hall.

At the 50th Anniversary Alaskan Malamute Club Of the UK CH Show under Canadian breed specialists Cheryl Paterson (Terrapin), Jeremy Brown (Byeyo) and referee Judge Sue Smith UK, Echo wins her 15th CC and is awarded BEST IN SHOW!!!
At City of Birmingham CH Show Echo wins the her 14th CC, sister Keisha in placed 3rd LB, well done to her owners Gill and Tom Woodall….brother Sid is placed RES OD handled by Sarah Towers, under Judge Ms Mary Deats .
At SKC CH Show Echo wins the CC and sister Keisha is takes the RCC and now gains her STUDBOOK NUMBER, Sid is placed VCH OD under judge Lorraine Bolton.
At The Welsh Kennel Club CH Show, Keisha is placed 2nd LB and Echo wins another RCC, under judge Dr R James.
At Bournemouth CH Show Both Sid and Ecgo placed in their claases and mother misty wins the RCC Under Judge Mr T Munrol.
At Paignton CH Show Echo takes her 13th CC and Sid and Misty both wins their class under judge Mr S Mallard.
At Leeds CH Show Echo takes her 12th CC and another BEST OF BREED even more special as mother Misty takes the RCC with Sid taking 3rd in OD dog and Breeze 3rd in VB, underJudge Mr J Horswelll.
At Harrogate & District Canine society, Misty progeny “Keisha” Arcticbreeze Nidnite Wispa takes BEST OF BREED, WORKING GROUP 1 and BEST IN SHOW 4TH under breed judge Marina Page, Group judge Alan Norcross (Paynnor) and BIS judge Marion Sargent……..well done to her ownes Gill and TomWoodall
At National Working & Pastoral CH Show 2014, Sid handled by Josh Henderson takes 2nd in OD and Echo takes her 11th CC.
Arcticbreeze Nidnite Wispa took BOB & WG2 today at Lanchester Show, breed Judge Alanna Johan Blaney and Group judge Richard Kinsey.
At East Of England CH Show, Sid took RES place in OD handled by Sarah Towers, with sister Echo handled by myself took 2nd in OB. Mother Misty in LB won the class and goes on to take her 1st CC under Judge David Cavill, handled by Sarah Towers!!
Great day and lots of laughs although a little damp at Windsor CH show, was fab to catch up with my long lost, much missed dog sister Sarah who handled Sid into 3rd place in OD , Echo made us so proud winning her 10th CC! Under Judge Mrs L Salt.
At Blackpool CH Show see’s Echo win another RCC with Sid being placed in his class, under Judge Mr F Kane.
At Border Union CH Show, Sid wins the OD class and the RCC and Echo took wins her 3rd RCC under Judge Mrs D Montgomery.
At the The Scottish Kennel Club CH show Echo won the CC, and Sid is placed 2nd in open dog class, under Judge Mr G A Hill.
At Birmingham National CH Sid handled by myself took the RCC, Echo and Timmy placed and Breeze won her class.
AMCUK club show – WOW, I am overwhelmed never expected to win TOP MALAMUTE OF THE YEAR & TOP BITCH with Echo, TOP VETERAN BITCH with Breeze and RUNNER UP TOP BROOD with Misty, Sid got a highly respected 3rd TOP DOG. Not forgetting the lovely Nero getting TOP STUD DOG, A huge thanks to Sarah Towers for all her help and support in these achievements, I couldn’t have done it without her.
Crufts, Sid was 2nd in Limit dog in a big class of 19 handled by Sarah, Echo was placed VHC in Open Bitch, under judge Mrs K Howarth.
What a fab start to 2014 Team muskets win the three dog class in great style at Hick Lodge Rally, followed by Boston Champion Show where Both Echo and Misty win their class and go on to win the CC & RCC, This is Echo’s 8th CC and it makes her the Top CC winning Alaskan Malamute Bitch.
