At Arcticbreeze, every litter is carefully planned with one primary goal: to produce healthy, happy, well-balanced Lagotto Romagnolos that are a true representation of the breed.

Health and temperament are always my highest priorities. Before any breeding takes place, I invest considerable time researching pedigrees, health testing, and bloodlines to ensure each mating is thoughtfully planned. I only consider using a stud dog that has passed all the relevant breed health tests and, just as importantly, one that I have met and spent time with personally. This allows me to assess not only his structure and breed type but also his temperament, character, and overall suitability for my breeding programme.

A wonderful temperament is one of the defining characteristics of the Lagotto Romagnolo. They should be affectionate, intelligent, eager to please, and adaptable family companions. Preserving these qualities is incredibly important to me, and I believe that meeting and interacting with every potential sire is essential in helping maintain the stable, confident temperaments that I value in my own dogs.

Every breeding is undertaken with the future in mind—not simply to produce puppies, but to contribute positively to the breed. My aim is to breed puppies that are healthy, confident, and well-socialised, with the potential to excel as much-loved family companions, successful show dogs, or in a variety of canine activities.
